The Big Church Day Out

Saturday 27th - Sunday 28th May and Friday 2nd - Saturday 3rd June

The UK's largest and fastest growing gathering of the church expands to two sites in 2017, at a time when church unity is more of a focus than ever before. The Big Church Day Out gathers Christians from all over the country, of all ages and denominations for a weekend of worship, family fun, music and celebration. This year, the Big Church Day Out also partners with 'Thy Kingdom Come', a national initiative started in 2016 by Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury. The Big Church Day Out North will be one of their 2017 Beacon events, falling on Pentecost weekend. The Big Church Day Out arguably brings together the most significant line up of Christian worship and artists seen at any event in the world, and fills the Wiston Estate in West Sussex with activities and venues that all ages can enjoy. This year Wiston isn't the only venue for this incredible event; Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire will also host thousands of church go-ers and their family and friends as the entire event travels up the country for another two days to 'celebrate all that is good'. Stories of unity, salvation and treasured family moments from the event flood the Big Church Day Out office every year, and this impact is something that the team sees growing and continuing for a long time into the future. The Big Church Day Out's vision for 2017 is one event in two locations, with 45,000 people coming together as one big family to worship and to celebrate all that is good. More information on the South & North events can be found at www.bigchurchdayout.com.
